Therese Gramercy . . . the girl named Trees

Favorite Things

Some favorites, as they flow along the giggling breeze of my thoughts and my smile,

Birds and birdhouses ... organizing ... colorized clothes closets . . . children of all ages,
the beach, the sea and sailing ... rocks and branches ... trees with hoar frost,
the warm glowing light of the Autumn sky.

Designing, touching fabric and sewing ... positive people ... the Aurora ... Qigong yoga,
clouds, flying and the Space Shuttle ... sharing my skills ... dogs and angels.

Monterey ... traveling to new cities and learning what folks do differently there,
entertaining ... visiting gardens ... fresh fruit.

Decorating ... French phrases ... selecting paint colors ... green beans and peas,
being helpful ... camellias, lavender, geraniums and roses ... tending my garden.

Nice shoes, hats, scarves, and socks ... old truisms ... dark chocolate with raspberries,
saying “thank you”, “you’re welcome”, and the phrase “y’all”.

Bracelets and rosaries ... giving out compliments v music, reading and writing,
smiling at strangers ... true friends ... red wine and well-dressed gentlemen,
and the thought of endless love.
